Locke High School Scholarship
Award for Scholarly Excellence
The primary mission of the Locke Foundation is education: Educating the public about the rich history and legacy of the town of Locke and surrounding communities of the Sacramento River Delta. Another mission of the Foundation is to bring benefit to those communities. For these reasons the Locke Foundation offers scholarships to deserving local high school seniors.
Scholarship recipients are chosen based on grade point average, extracurricular activities, public service and quality of written essays, penned on the theme: How would I preserve and promote the town of Locke?
The Locke Foundation is pleased to offer financial assistance to worthy local students, while enlightening applicants of the historic significance of the town of Locke, and the compelling story of the immigrant experience of those who helped shape California.
