Volunteer
The Locke Foundation relies on volunteers to carry out a variety of tasks to ensure the preservation of the history and culture of Locke. Volunteers contribute in a number of ways which include:
Assisting with several cultural and fundraising events throughout the year.
Helping catalogue artifacts and conducting oral history interviews with Locke residents.
Maintaining the museums and gardens of Locke.
Assisting with creating text, video and audio content for social media and educational purposes.
Leading tour groups and answering queries from museum visitors.
Volunteers typically meet two times a month at Locke on the weekend. No previous experience is required and training will be provided. If you would like to help, please email James at lockefoundation1915@gmail.com.
