Volunteer

The Locke Foundation relies on volunteers to carry out a variety of tasks to ensure the preservation of the history and culture of Locke. Volunteers contribute in a number of ways which include:

  • Assisting with several cultural and fundraising events throughout the year.

  • Helping catalogue artifacts and conducting oral history interviews with Locke residents.

  • Maintaining the museums and gardens of Locke.

  • Assisting with creating text, video and audio content for social media and educational purposes.

  • Leading tour groups and answering queries from museum visitors.

Volunteers typically meet two times a month at Locke on the weekend. No previous experience is required and training will be provided. If you would like to help, please email James at lockefoundation1915@gmail.com.
